This bulletin has been revised. The extension hoses (tubes) that were previously available through the WPC are now available through GMSPO. Do not
order the tubes from the WPC. Discard all copies of bulletin 07015A, issued October 2007.
***THIS PROGRAM IS IN EFFECT UNTIL FEBRUARY 29, 2008.***
Condition
On certain 2006-2007 Pontiac G6 Coupe vehicles with a single panel sunroof (CF5), one or both rear sunroof drain hoses may be misrouted. Over time,
the hoses may pull away from their connectors allowing water to enter the vehicle through the sunroof module rear drainage ports.
Correction
Dealers are to partially lower the headliner, reroute the drain hoses if necessary, install nylon straps around the rubber connectors, and reinstall the
headliner.
Vehicles Involved
Involved are certain 2006-2007 Pontiac G6 Coupe vehicles with a single panel sunroof (CF5) and built within the VIN breakpoints shown.
Dealers are to confirm vehicle eligibility prior to beginning repairs by using GMVIS. Not all vehicles within the above breakpoints may be involved.
For dealers with involved vehicles, a listing with involved vehicles containing the complete vehicle identification number, customer name, and address
information has been prepared and will be provided through the applicable system listed below. Dealers will not have a report available if they have no
involved vehicles currently assigned.
