Water Pump: Service and Repair
Water Pump Replacement (LZ4/LZ9) (3.5L, 3.9L)
Removal Procedure
1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LY7, LZE, LZ4, LZ9) (See: Service and Repair)Cooling System

2. Loosen the water pump pulley bolts.
3. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (Coupe) (See: Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt/Service
and Repair/Drive Belt Replacement (Coupe))Drive Belt Replacement (Convertible) (See: Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and

4. Remove the water pump pulley bolts and pulley.
5. Remove the water pump bolts.
6. Remove the water pump and gasket.
