8. Remove the washer solvent container (4) from the left frame rail.
9. Remove and transfer the following components from the washer solvent container:

The washer pump assembly and seal-Refer to Washer Pump Replacement (See: Windshield Washer Pump/Service and Repair/Washer Pump
Replacement).
*
The washer level sensor and seal-Refer to Windshield Washer Solvent Level Switch Replacement (See: Sensors and Switches - Wiper and
Washer Systems/Washer Fluid Level Switch/Service and Repair).
*
The solvent container cap
*
The solvent container hose-Refer to Windshield Washer Solvent Container Hose Replacement (See: Windshield Washer Solvent Container
Hose Replacement).
Installation Procedure
1. Install the following components to the washer solvent container:

The washer pump assembly and seal-Refer to Washer Pump Replacement (See: Windshield Washer Pump/Service and Repair/Washer Pump
Replacement).
*
The washer level sensor and seal-Refer to Windshield Washer Solvent Level Switch Replacement (See: Sensors and Switches - Wiper and
Washer Systems/Washer Fluid Level Switch/Service and Repair).
*
The solvent container cap
*
The solvent container hose-Refer to Windshield Washer Solvent Container Hose Replacement (See: Windshield Washer Solvent Container
Hose Replacement).
2. Position the washer solvent container (4) to the left frame rail.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
3. Install the washer solvent container nuts (3).
Tighten the nuts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
4. Connect the washer pump electrical connector (2).
5. Connect the washer level sensor electrical connector (1).
6. Install the front fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Fender/Front Fender/Front Fender Liner/Service
and Repair).
7. Fill the washer solvent container with washer solvent.
