Important: Wrap a workshop cloth around the rear inner cable (4) to protect it from damage. Using pliers, pull the rear inner cable (4)
forward and upwards to release the ball nipple from the front park brake cable and equaliser bracket assembly (3).
11. Remove the rear inner cables (4) from the front park brake cable and equaliser bracket assembly (3).
12. Remove the front park brake cable forward bracket to vehicle underbody retaining (1) nuts.
13. Remove the front park brake cable rear bracket to vehicle underbody retaining bolt (2).
14. Lower the vehicle.
15. Remove the park brake lever assembly from the front floor console. Refer to Parking Brake Release Handle Assembly Replacement (See: Parking
