Removal Procedure

Disconnect Caution) .
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Battery
Cable/Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the engine covers. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement (See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Cover Replacement)
.
3. Remove the air intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement (See: Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Air

4. Disconnect the throttle body electrical connector (1).
