6. Remove the heater inlet hose (1) from the heater inlet pipe (2).
Installation Procedure
Caution: Refer to Installing Hoses without Twists or Bends Notice (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Installing Hoses
without Twists or Bends Notice) .
Important: If reusing the heater inlet hose (1), align the heater inlet hose (1) with the marks made on the heater core inlet pipe (3) during
the removal procedure.
1. Connect the heater inlet hose (3) to the heater core inlet pipe (2).
2. Using J 38185 slide the heater inlet hose retaining clamp (1) back into the original position on the heater inlet hose (3).
