Control Module HVAC: Service and Repair
HVAC - Manual
HVAC Control Module Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the glove box assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /
Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the close out panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side (LHD) (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding
/ Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair)
3. Remove the right side floor air outlet duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Right Side (See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Air
Duct/Service and Repair/Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Right Side) .
4. Remove the right hand hinge panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim
Panel/Service and Repair)
5. If required, remove the transmission control module. Refer to Transmission Control Replacement (See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic
Transmission/Transaxle/Shifter A/T/Service and Repair/5L40-E/5L50-E - Automatic Transmission/Transmission Control Replacement) .
6. Disconnect the HVAC control module electrical connectors (1).
