3. Install the disc brake backing plate (2) to the knuckle (1).

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Notice) .

4. Install the upper disc brake backing plate to knuckle retaining bolt (3).

Tighten the bolts to 60 Nm (44 lb ft).

5. Install the lower disc brake backing plate to knuckle retaining bolts (4).

Tighten the bolts to 130 Nm (96 lb ft).

6. Install the park brake shoes. Refer to Parking Brake Shoe Replacement  (See: Brakes and Traction Control/Parking Brake System/Parking Brake

Shoe/Service and Repair) .

Important:  The wheel hub flange (1) must be fully seated against the wheel bearing.

7. Install the wheel hub flange (1) using a suitable press.
