2. Remove the adjustment nut (1) from the shift control linkage.
3. Disconnect the shift control linkage rod from the shift control assembly.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Remove the center console assembly. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement  (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service

and Repair) .
