8. Remove the plug from the power steering fluid reservoir (1).
9. Release the power steering fluid reservoir inlet pipe/hose spring clamp (2) and connect the power steering fluid reservoir inlet pipe/hose (3) to the
power steering fluid reservoir (1).
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
10. Install the power steering fluid reservoir inlet pipe/hose bracket to subframe retaining bolt (4).
Tighten the bolt to 9 Nm (80 lb in).
11. Install the mass air flow (MAF) sensor. Refer to Mass Airflow Sensor with Intake Air Temperature Sensor Replacement (See: Powertrain
Management/Computers and Control Systems/Air Flow Meter/Sensor/Service and Repair).
12. Install the upper section of the air box. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and
Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair).
Caution: When adding fluid or making a complete fluid change, always use the proper power steering fluid. Failure to use the proper fluid will
cause hose and seal damage and fluid leaks.
13. Fill power steering fluid reservoir with fluid to the MAX level mark on the reservoir.
14. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding (See: Power Steering Bleeding/Service and Repair).
15. Check for power steering fluid leaks.
16. Remove the container from under the vehicle.
17. Install the engine dress cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Engine Cover Replacement).
