TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS (Perform before beginning System Diagnosis)
Make the following checks before beginning system diagnosis.
1. If the Powertrain Control Module and Electronic Brake Control Module are not accessible with a scan tool, check for an open in CKT 800
between DLC terminal "M" and S277.
2. If a single component is not accessible with a scan tool, check for an open in the following:

Powertrain Control Module - CKT 800 between S277 and component.

Electronic Brake Control Module - CKT 800 between S277 and component.
^
Diagnostic Energy Reserve Module - CKT 1061 between DLC terminal "L" and component.
If the wires are OK. refer

3. Check that all connectors in system are mated correctly.

Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure to prove "GOOD" in a continuity
