Grand AM V6-3300 33L (1992) Window Regulator Service and Repair
10. Manual window regulator handle if applicable.
11. Grasp trim panel by hand and gently pull outward to release fasteners (7) from retainers (11).
12. Door trim panel (1) by lifting at bottom of panel to disengage hooks (8) from slots on inner door panel.
Install or Connect
1. Door trim panel (1) by routing seat belts and door lock harness through trim panel.

Align hooks (8) to slots at top of inner door panel and engage to secure.

Align fasteners (7) to trim panel to retainers (11) and push outboard on trim panel until fasteners are fully seated.
2. Manual window regulator handle if applicable.
3. Escutcheon (6).
4. Outside mirror escutcheon.
5. Connector to power lock switch.
6. Door lock switch and escutcheon.
7. Screw (4).
8. Manual lock rod knob (3).
9. Screw (9).
10. Screw (10).
11. Screws (2).
Door Water Deflector
A waterproof, clear plastic deflector is used to seal the door inner panel and prevent entry of water. The deflector is secured to the inner panel with
waterproof adhesive. This allows the deflector to be peeled back as needed to service door components.
Important

Waterproof tape must be used to reseal the deflector if it becomes loose, if the holes in the deflector do not line up with the door inner panel, or if
the deflector is damaged.
Remove or Disconnect
1. Door Trim Panel.
2. Any components installed over deflector (shoulder and lap belt retractor).
3. Water deflector (1) by peeling deflector off door inner panel.
Install or Connect
1. Water deflector to door inner panel, malting sure that tabs (2) on bottom of the deflector are in slots in the bottom of the door inner panel and that
original fastener holes in deflector are located in original position.
2. All components removed in step 2 of removal procedure.
3. Door trim panel.
