IMPORTANT:
Steps 3 and 4 apply only to the Pontiac with full sound system radio.

Remove the ash tray and retainer.
4.
Remove the radio sound amplifier and bracket.
5.
Pull back the carpet and remove the adapter duct (2 screws).
6.
Remove the heater outlet duct (3 screws).
7.
Remove the A/C module lower cover (7 screws).
8.
Fill the front groove of the module, in the area indicated in Figure 1, with the specified sealant from the indicated area out to the screw attachment
on each side of the area.
9.
Reinstall the bottom module cover.
10.
Reinstall the front heater outlet duct.
11.
Reinstall the adapter duct and replace the carpet.
IMPORTANT:
Steps 12 and 13 apply only to the vehicles with the full sound radio system.
12.
Reinstall the radio amplifier and bracket.
13.
Reinstall the ash tray and retainer.
14.
Reinstall the close out panels (hush panels).
15.
Raise the vehicle and reinstall the A/C module drain tube.
