Daytime Running Lamp Diode Assembly: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the LH Instrument Panel (IP) insulator.
2. Remove the steering column filler panel.
3. Remove the LH IP access panel.

4. Reach through the LH IP access opening and disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the Daytime Running Lamp (DRL) diode.
5. Remove the bolt retaining the DRL diode bracket to the underside of the cross vehicle beam.
6. Remove the DRL diode with bracket (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the DRL diode with bracket (2) to the cross vehicle beam.
