Energy Absorber Pad

ENERGY ABSORBER PAD
Front Door - Coupe and Sedan
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the trim panel.
2. Remove the energy absorber retainer.
3. Remove the energy absorber from the trim panel.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Use oil-free naphtha or alcohol in order to clean the door inner panel.
2. Peel the backing from the energy absorber.
3. Install the energy absorber retainer.
4. Install the trim panel.

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Open the door.
2. Remove the trim panel.
3. Remove the water deflector.
4. Unsnap the clips securing the energy absorber pad to the door.
5. Remove the energy absorber pad from the door.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the energy absorber pad to the door.
2. Snap the clips into place in order to secure the energy absorber pad to the door.
3. Install the water deflector.
4. Install the trim panel.
5. Close the door.
