Radio/Stereo: Service and Repair

    When installing radio, be sure to adjust antenna trimmer for peak performance.

BONNEVILLE & GRAND PRIX

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove upper and lower trim plates.

3.

If equipped with console, move shift lever fully rearward.

4.

On all models, remove four radio attaching screws from front of radio.

5.

Open glove box door and lower by releasing spring clip.

6.

Loosen radio rear attaching nut and pull radio outward slightly.

7.

Disconnect electrical leads from radio and remove radio from vehicle.

8.

Reverse procedure to install.
