Grand Prix V6-3.8L VIN K (1998)
3. Install the engine mount strut to the left engine mount strut bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement (Left).
4. Install the radiator support clamp to the engine mount strut bolt.
5. Install the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor. Refer to ECT Sensor Replacement in Powertrain Management.
6. Fill the cooling system with engine coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Cooling System.
Engine Mount Strut Bracket Replacement (RH, Engine - L36)
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the battery ground (negative) cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Starting and Charging.
2. Remove the ignition coil. Refer to Ignition Control Module Replacement in Powertrain Management.
3. Remove the generator support brace. Refer to Generator Brace Replacement (Front Brace 3800 L36 and L67) in Starting and Charging.
4. Remove the ground wiring harness connection.
5. Remove the right engine mount strut at the right engine mount strut bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement (Right).
