1. Install the lower hood hinge (2) to the vehicle.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the bolts (3) to the lower hood hinge (2).

Tighten the lower hood hinge bolts to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

3. Install the upper hood hinge (1) to the lower hood hinge (2), if removed.
4. Install the center bolt (4) to the lower hood hinge (2) and upper hood hinge (1), if removed.

Tighten the center bolt to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

5. Install the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Hood Replacement (Without Hood Scoops)  (See: Service and Repair/Hood Replacement (Without Hood

Scoops))Hood Replacement (With Hood Scoops)  (See: Service and Repair/Hood Replacement (With Hood Scoops)) in Body Front End.

6. Install the hood. Refer to Hood Replacement (Without Hood Scoops)  (See: Service and Repair/Hood Replacement (Without Hood Scoops))Hood

Replacement (With Hood Scoops)  (See: Service and Repair/Hood Replacement (With Hood Scoops)) .

7. Adjust the hood as required. Refer to Hood Adjustment  (See: Adjustments) .
