Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood.
2. Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement   in Wipers/Washer Systems.
3. Remove the 6 retainers (2) securing the air inlet grille panels.
4. Pull the left air inlet grille panel (3) and the right air inlet grille panel (1) forward to release them from the retainer securing them to the windshield

(4).

5. Lift the left air inlet grille panel (3) upwards while maneuvering the panel away from the hood hinge, and remove the left air inlet grille panel (3).
6. Lift the right air inlet grille panel (1) upwards while maneuvering the panel away from the hood hinge, and remove the right air inlet grille panel

(1).

7. Remove the 10 push-in retainers (4) securing the air inlet grille water deflector (3), to the air inlet chamber.
