4. Remove the clamp and the old pad or the wood.

4. Install the 2 brake pads (16,17) to the bracket (1).
5. Install the 2 spring clips (18,19).
6. Rotate the caliper (10) down over the brake rotor.

7. Important:  Do not wedge anything between the hex of the guide pin and the body of the caliper. The position of the guide pin affects the sliding

of the caliper relative to the bracket.

Use a wrench in order to prevent the guide pin (11) from rotating.

8. Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install 1 NEW guide pin bolt (9).
Tighten the bolt to 32 Nm (24 ft. lbs.).

9. Install the tire and wheel assembly to the vehicle. 

10. Lower the vehicle.
11. With the engine OFF, gradually apply and release the brake pedal several times in order to position the caliper pistons.
12. Apply pressure to the brake pedal for at least 5 seconds in order to position the brake pads.
13. Fill the master cylinder fluid reservoir. 
14. Burnish the pads and the rotors.
