GTO V8-6.0L VIN U (2005)
1. Clean the mating surfaces of the knuckle (4).Verify the mating surfaces are free from burrs.
2. Clean the mating surfaces of the hub (2,5).Verify the mating surfaces are free from burrs.
3. Align the sensor connection on the hub with the hole in the knuckle.
4. Install the hub to the knuckle.
5. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Important: The Allen bolts that retain the hub to the knuckle have thread sealant. Do not re-use the bolts more than 3 times. If in doubt, replace
the 3 Allen bolts.
Install the 3 Allen bolts (3,5).
Tighten the bolts to 108 Nm (80 ft. lbs.).
6. Connect the wheel speed sensor connector (4).Ensure the locking tab on the connector is secure.
