Crankshaft Gear/Sprocket: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Remove timing belt as described under TIMING BELT.
3.
Remove crankshaft sprocket attaching bolt and washer, then remove crankshaft sprocket.
4.
Reverse procedure to install. When installing crankshaft sprocket, ensure it is proper positioned on crankshaft key. Tighten crankshaft sprocket
attaching bolt to torque listed at the end of this section.
