Upper Sliding Door Roller: Service and Repair

Roller Bracket Replacement - Upper

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the sliding door garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Sliding Door  (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim

Panel/Service and Repair/Garnish Molding Replacement - Sliding Door) .

2. Remove the headliner trim finish molding. Refer to Headlining Trim Finish Molding Replacement  (See: Interior Moulding /

Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Headlining Trim Finish Molding Replacement) in Interior Trim.

3. Support the sliding door.
4. Mark the location of the sliding door upper roller bracket to the door with a grease pencil.
5. Remove the sliding door upper roller bracket bolts.

6. Remove the sliding door upper roller bracket from the front edge of the upper track.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the sliding door upper roller bracket to the front edge of the upper track.
2. Align the sliding door upper roller bracket to the grease pencil marks.

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice  in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the sliding door upper roller bracket bolts.

Tighten the sliding door upper roller bracket bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

4. Remove the support from the sliding door.
5. Install the headliner trim finish molding. Refer to Headlining Trim Finish Molding Replacement  (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service

and Repair/Headlining Trim Finish Molding Replacement) in Interior Trim.

6. Install the sliding door garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Sliding Door  (See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim

Panel/Service and Repair/Garnish Molding Replacement - Sliding Door) in Interior Trim.
