NOTE:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the wiper motor crank arm screw.

Tighten
Tighten the screw to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).

3. Install the wiper motor crank arm cover.

4. Check the gap between the wiper motor crank arm and tab. If the gap is not 4-8 mm (0.157- 0.315 in), remove the wiper motor crank arm and

repeat installation steps.

5. Install the drive link onto the wiper motor crank arm.
6. Tighten the drive link screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

7. Install the wiper system module cover.
8. Inspect the wipers for proper operation.

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the wiper arms.
2. Remove the air inlet grille panel.
3. Remove the cruise control and bracket.
4. Remove the wiper motor.
