Shift Select Cable Replacement 

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the manual shift lever from the vehicle. 
2. Remove the inflatable restraint Sensing And Diagnostic Module (SDM) from the vehicle. 
3. Disconnect the H02S electrical sensor. 
4. Remove the air cleaner assembly from the vehicle. 
5. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
6. Remove the exhaust pipe from the vehicle. 
7. Remove the front heat shield from the vehicle.
8. Remove the cable retaining clip, then disconnect the cable from the bracket.
9. Remove the shift select cable from the cable support bracket.

10. Remove the 2 nuts then separate the cable from the vehicle.
