Radiator: Service and Repair

Radiator Replacement (2.4L)

Removal Procedure

Warning:  Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning   (See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service Precautions).

1. Disconnect cable from negative battery terminal. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection   (See: Starting and

Charging/Battery/Battery Cable/Service and Repair).

2. Remove the left engine under cover.
3. Remove the right engine under cover.
4. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling   (See: Service and Repair).
5. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement   (See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair).
6. Remove the front bumper assembly. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Without GT)   (See: Body and Frame/Bumper/Front

7. Remove the thermistor assembly.

8. Disconnect the radiator reservoir tank hose (1) from the radiator assembly.
