1. Install the side impact sensor.

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

2. Install the side impact sensor fastener (1).

Tighten the fastener to 9 Nm (80 lb in).

3. Install the side impact sensor electrical connector (2).
4. Install the front seat belt retractor. Refer to Seat Belt Retractor Pretensioner Replacement - Left Front   (See: Seat Belt Systems/Seat Belt

Tensioner/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Seat Belt Retractor Pretensioner Replacement - Left Front) or Seat Belt Retractor

5. Install the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement   (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /

Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair).

6. Install the rear door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Front Sill)   (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff

7. Install the front door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement (Front Sill)   (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff

8. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling   (See: Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming/Service and Repair).
