5. Loosen the lock nut (1).
6. Loosen the adjusting nut (2).
7. Separate the park brake cable equalizer (1) from the rear park brake cable.
8. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair).
9. Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Service and
Repair).
10. Remove the center exhaust pipe with the resonator and the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (2.4L AWD) (See:
