Vibe FWD L4-1.8L VIN 8 (2004)
Important: The wheel Speed sensor is serviceable only as an assembly. Do NOT attempt to service the sensor harnesses pigtail.
1. Disconnect the electrical connector (6) from the wheel - sensor.
2. Remove the rear axle hub and bearing assembly. Refer to Bearing/Hub Replacement - Rear (FWD) or wheel Bearing/Hub Replacement - Rear
(AWD) in Rear Suspension.
3. Remove the wheel speed sensor from the rear axle hub.
Installation Procedure
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
1. Install the wheel speed sensor to rear wheel hub.
2. Install the rear axle hub and bearing assembly. Refer to Wheel Bearing (Hub Replacement - Rear (FWD) or Wheel Bearing/Hub Replacement -
Rear (AWD) in Rear Suspension.
3. Connect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector (6).
4. Perform Diagnostic System Check - ABS. See: Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and
