Use a brush to coat the sides of the contact area of the guide pin and latching hook with grease (-->Figure 1-Arrows, Item 1-).

3.

Grease the gate of the latching hook with a brush (--> Figure 1-Arrows, Item 2-).

4.

Press the locking lever several times in succession (open and close the front hardtop latch) to distribute the grease around the guide.

5.

Replace cover of locking lever, --> Workshop Manual
"610219 Removing and installing hardtop".
