Removing and Installing Rear Silencer

Preliminary work

1. Remove rear wheel. Use a socket wrench insert P 300 to avoid damage to the wheel rims.

2. Remove strut for rear apron. Unscrew fastening screws -1 and 2- and remove strut.

DANGER:

Parts of the exhaust system become extremely hot.

Permanent scarring of the skin

Do not begin work until the exhaust system has cooled down completely.

If it is imperative that you work on the hot exhaust system, ensure that you wear fire-resistant and heat-resistant protective gear.
