Activate DME control unit -> 'Control unit programming' using the PIWIS Tester (PIWIS software version 16.0 or higher).

To ensure that misfire detection is fully activated again following programming, the DME control unit must re-adapt the engine-speed sensor
wheel.

To do this, a test drive must be performed as soon as programming is complete during which the engine must be under load between 2000 and
3000 rpms for at least 30 seconds (even with interruptions).

Allow the engine to cool down until the engine temperature is less than 86 degree F (30 degree C).

Start the engine and let it run at idle speed for 3 minutes. Switch off the engine.

Read out the fault memory using the PIWIS Tester:
-

If misfire faults are detected again (P0300 to P0306)

 --> perform "Guided Fault Finding".

Once you have corrected all faults, erase the fault memory.
