Attachment "A" VIN list 

Work Procedure:

Calibrating fuel-level sensor.

Note:

To ensure that the fuel tank is drained completely using the fuel transfer unit WE 1262, the suction hose must be inserted as far as possible into
the two lower halves of the fuel tank (to the right and left of the cardan shaft) when draining the fuel tank.

1.

Drain the fuel tank using the fuel transfer unit WE 1262 according to -> Workshop Manual '2010EN Draining and filling the fuel tank - section on
"Draining".

As an alternative to using the "fuel transfer unit WE 1262", the fuel tank can also be drained (according to the instructions in -> Workshop Manual
206601 Checking quantity delivered by fuel pump - section on "Checking" using the PIWIS Tester P9718 by activating the fuel pump relay.

2.

Calibrate the fuel level sensor according to -> Workshop Manual '2075IN Calibrating fuel level sensor system using the PIWIS Tester P 9718 and
test software version 13.0/12/2005 (or higher).

3.

Fill the fuel tank with the fuel drained in Step 1.

4.

Enter the Workshop Campaign in the Warranty and Maintenance booklet.

Attachment "C" Administrative Procedure, Workshop Campaign W609 Warranty claims should be submitted via e-DCS

Note:

Always check for open recall status under the appropriate e-DCS menu options.

Labor Operation: Will be automatically inserted when the damage code is entered.
