General Information:
As of May, 1993 production the fabric used to make the Cabriolet top was changed to a stretchable type material. With this change the mounting point
for the tension cable and the shape of the cut of the top material were also changed (Figure 1).
Repairing Cabriolet Top:
When installing a new top cover, the material must be installed with no creases and light tension. A new hole (4.1 mm) must be drilled in the top frame
of vehicles produced before the above mentioned production date, for mounting of the tension cable.
When installing the screw that holds the tension cable in the top section of the frame, tighten the screw so that the eyelet of the tension cable can pivot in
the mounting point.
