Ignition Cable Repair
REMOVAL
1. Pull plug connector off the spark plug. If connector does not pull off easily, use Special Tool 9513 (D).
Note: To facilitate pulling with removal pliers, press with your free hand.
2. Apply sliding compound (G) between plug lead and plug connector.
3. Disconnect plug lead from plug connector. Place assembly tool (E) along plug lead into plug connector. Use assembly tool to keep plug lead in place
and unscrew plug connector.
CONVERSION
1. Strip plug leads. Shorten insulation of plug lead (A) by approx. 6.8 mm. The dimension of 6.8 mm can be checked by placing the lead against the
corresponding spot marked on the stop pliers (F).
