3. Clean contact area of engine protection plate and aluminum air guide.

4. Align aluminum air guide plate with protection plate and install a 6 mm bolt with nut in location A1. Install

rivet with washer (Figure 3) in location A2. Refer to Figure 4 for location identification.

Rivet Installation:
1. Rivet
2. Washer
3. Aluminum air guide plate
4. Engine protection plate

5. Drill air guide according to existing holes in engine protection plate.

Note:

Early version engine protection plates have 6 rivet holes and new version engine protection
plates have 10 rivet holes. When installing new aluminum air guide plate on early version
protection plate, additional holes must be drilled in locations "C" (Figure 4).

6. If necessary, mark additional rivet holes referring to dimensions for locations "C" on the engine

protection plate in Figure 4.

7. Drill 5 mm holes in marked locations and deburr. Install rivets with washers.

8. Remove 6 mm bolt and nut from location A1 and reinstall engine protection plate.

Explanation of drilling locations "A1/A2" - existing on engine protection plate and on air guide. "B" - existing on engine protection plate must be drilled
on air guide. "C" - existing only on new version engine protection plate. Must be drilled on air guide and on old version engine protection plate.
