Important:
The following information refers to repairs made when performing Service Action 092. See Technical Bulletin Group 3, Number 9204.
Models Affected:
All 911 C2 with Tiptronic transmission
Concern:
Correct installation of front lower panel mounting screws.
General Information:
When installing the front lower panel on 911 C2 cars with Tiptronic transmission, the mounting screws (arrows, Figure 1) must be of the correct length.
Failure to install the correct screws into the locations shown in Figure 1 can lead to damage of the transmission oil cooler line and Tiptronic
transmission. After installing these four screws, mark the screw heads with a red paint dot.
