Convertible Top Latch Cover Replacement

Concern:
Cover for the convertible top latching hook comes off.

Information:

The cover cap for the convertible top latching hook is now available as a spare part (Figure 1). A new cover cap (P/N: 996 561 787 OO 01C) should be
installed when necessary, as opposed to replacing the entire convertible top latch assembly.

Note: 

Warranty claims for complete latch assembly replacement will be denied if replaced for a loose or missing latch hook cover piece.

Also, the side covers for the convertible top latch assembly are available as spare parts. (Figure 2)
