Components
Note: The sealing rings can also be replaced with the transmission installed.
Removal
1. Unscrew fastening screw for halfshaft flange and pull out halfshaft flange.
2. Lever out sealing ring using a suitable tool.
Installation
1. Fill the space between the dust and sealing lips with grease (e.g. Liqui - Moly) and drive in the sealing ring up to the mounting face using special
tool 9252.
2. Tighten the fastening screw for the halfshaft flange with 44 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).
