Removing And Installing Wiper Link

Preliminary work

Preliminary work on wiper motor

Disconnect the battery and cover terminal or battery.
Left plenum chamber cover

Preliminary work for wiper link

Remove wiper arms.
Removing cowl panel cover.

Removing wiper link

1. Unscrew the fastening screws for the dome strut -1, 2- and remove the strut.

2. Unscrew the three fastening screws -3- for the wiper link, release and unplug the electrical plug for the wiper motor.
3. Remove wiper link, if the wiper motor should be removed from the wiper link, then proceed according to Removing and installing wiper motor.

Installing wiper link

1. If necessary, fit the wiper motor to the wiper link.

2. Position wiper link in radiator tank and screw down the fastening screws -3A, 3B, 3,C- in turn.

Tightening torque: 7.5 ftlb.
