Connect the gray plug of the interference-suppression choke wiring harness to the PCM unit. Connect the remaining PCM plug connections and
install it into position. See Technical Manual, section: 91 10 19 - Removing and installing display and operator control unit (PCM).

Install the driver and passenger center console covers (foot-well area).

Connect the battery.

Perform a function test. Also test the alarm system by closing all windows, doors, and lids. Then lock the vehicle with the radio remote control or
vehicle key.

If the alarm horn beeps, one or more alarm inputs are activated. Unlock the vehicle. Use the Porsche System Tester 2 (PST2) to check the fault
memory and input signals of the alarm control unit to locate the problem. After correcting the problem go to step 13

If there is no sound from the alarm horn, the system is OK. Unlock the vehicle and continue with the next step
13.
Input the 4-digit PCM code.

Erase the DME fault memory using the PST2. There may be a "Supply voltage interrupted" fault stored in the DME. Shut down and disconnect the
PST2.
