NOTE:  Sealing surfaces must be clean and free of grease.

1. Remove protective paper -2- and stick new foam pads -1- at the marked positions.

2. Position upper part of lid lock -1- on hood compartment lid.

3. Tighten fastening screws -2-. -] Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
4. Screw in rubber buffer -1- in -direction of arrow-.

5. Fit edge protection -2- on hood compartment lid -3- (-arrow A-).

NOTE:  When installing the second retaining clip (on right/left), make sure that it is fitted at a distance of -X = 450 mm- from the end of the edge
protection.
