6. Insert a new filter element.
7. Screw the oil-filter housing back in and secure it with the Oil filter spanner 92040. -> Tightening torque: 19 ftlb

Refilling engine oil

Caution: Incorrect oil level

Damage to engine and catalytic converter.

-> Always observe specification for oil fill quantities.

Note: Lift the oil filler neck slightly in order to fill engine oil.

Note: Use only engine oils tested and approved by Porsche AG.

1. Fill the engine oil slowly using a suitable filler container in order to avoid the oil overflowing at the filler neck. Don't forget to screw the cap on

again tightly.

Engine oil filling capacities: -> Filling capacity without oil filter: 8.00 liter; -> Filling capacity with oil filter: 8.25 liter; -> Filling capacity without oil
filter: 8.25 liter; -> Filling capacity with oil filter: 8.50 liter

2. Clip the oil filler neck into the holding slot on the air cleaner.

Reworking

Subsequent work - topping up engine oil

1. Check engine oil level via on-board computer (display in instrument cluster).
