Instrument Replacement

Note:

-

Electrical connections are accessible from luggage compartment.

On vehicles equipped with air bags, disable airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM
DISARMING.

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Disconnect electrical connections from instrument to be removed.

3.

On models with mechanical speedometer, remove flex shaft knurled nut.

4.

Remove knurled instrument retaining nuts and retaining clamp.

5.

Remove instrument from passenger compartment.

6.

Reverse procedure to install.
