The RI-2002 analyzes and identifies R12, R134a and R22 to protect against costly cross contamination in vehicles, recovery recycling machines and
storage cylinders. In addition to purity "PASS/FAIL" LED indicators. the actual percentages of R12, R134a and R22 are shown on a digital LCD
display.

Displays Actual Percentages of Air

The micro-processor based RI-2002 now displays the actual percentage of air in any A/C system whenever good (better than 98% pure) R12 or R134a is
detected. Knowing that a "good" R12 or R134a A/C system has too much air saves the technician valuable time and money and gives him a huge head
start in diagnostic trouble shooting.

Flammable Refrigerant Warning

Using an audible and visual alarm for technician safety, the RI-2002 immediately alerts the user to the presence of flammable refrigerants (e.g. propane
and butane based "drop-in" refrigerants). As an added benefit, the RI-2002 displays the actual percentages of hydrocarbons when they are detected.

Simple to Use, Fast Results

The operator simply turns the RI-2002 "ON," attaches the refrigerant sample hose directly to the vehicle's A/C system vapor port and pushes the
"START" button. The identification process takes about 30 seconds, and the RI-2002 self-calibrates before every test!

Reduced performance and system compatibility problems are encountered when R12 and R134a are cross contaminated, and serious damage can occur
even if small amounts of R22 are present in an A/C system. The top-of- the-line RI-2002 is the only identifier capable of verifying 98% pure R12 or
R134a and that a R134a retrofitted vehicle meets the SAE J1661 98% purity standard. Simply stated, the greater the accuracy, the less chance for
