3. Check valve clearance with P 213. If necessary, loosen nut on adjusting screw and correct valve clearance by turning adjusting screw with a

suitable screwdriver. Hold adjusting screw and tighten nut.

4. Recheck clearance.
5. Now turn crankshaft on pulley to next mark (120°). Valves of cylinder no.6 can be adjusted in this position.
6. Turning crankshaft (120°) to next mark brings the valves of cylinder no.2 into position.
7. Repeat procedures accordingly for adjustment of remaining valves (cylinder nos. 4, 3 and 5).
