Selector Fork: Adjustments
5th/reverse Adjustment

Push the idler gear on shaft against fixed gear I of 5th speed.

Adjust clearance between idler gear and sliding gear in neutral position. Clearance should be 1 mm (0.04 in.).
CAUTION: Push the idler gear gently in direction of travel; there should be no play between the shift fork and the sliding gear groove. This
eliminates the possibility of the sliding gear hitting the idler gear in cases of tolerance build-up.

Tighten selector fork bolt to: 25 Nm (18.4 ft lb)
