Using the selection items "Zoom +" or "Zoom -", select a scale unit between 500 ft. and 10 miles. See Figure 2.

Check whether pixel offset is present. See Figures 3 to 5 for details. A defective navigation unit will display pixels that are offset by up to 4 pixels.
Pixel offset occurs at the color transitions on the map display.

If no pixel offset can be detected, go to step 9.

If the display shows pixel offset as shown in Figures 3 to 5, the navigation unit must be replaced.

Replace navigation unit.

9.

Enter campaign into the Warranty and Maintenance book.
