Notes:

Make sure:

-

that the clamping claw is between the rubber seal and the roof rail, as well as centered in the recess;

-

the rubber seal is not pinched by the clamping claw;

-

the front edge of the wind deflector (Fig. 8, Item A) and the clamping claws (Item B) of the front carrier are at approximately the same
level.

Slightly tighten the pan-head screw of the clamping claws (Fig. 9, Item A) on both sides, alternating sides, using the Allen key (item B). This
fastens the feet (Item C) to the roof rail.

Point 2.7 is only when installing or fitting the Roof Transport System on another vehicle for the first time!

2.7

Screw down the support tube mounted loosely to the feet on both sides. To do this, firmly tighten the prefitted screws (Fig. 10).

Tightening torque: 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)
(outer most notch in the torque wrench).
