Retrofitment of the new ventilation element

1.

Remove the problem headlight; see Owner's Manual 911 Carrera (996), Chapter "Practical Information, Breakdown Service" Headlights.

2.

Loosen the ventilation pipe connected to the headlight mount and pull out with the pliers.

3.

Engage the new ventilation element to the ventilation connection of the headlight mount (Figure 1, arrow).

4.

Install the new headlight.

5.

Remove the other headlight, remove the former ventilation pipe and install the new ventilation element.

6.

Install the headlight.
